Apoorva is currently the Manager - Stakeholder Engagement at Chintan Environmental Research and Action Group. Previously, he served at the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, and at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Federal Republic of Germany. 

Apoorva has a strong background in environmental policy and management, having worked on key projects that address climate change, waste management, and sustainable development. He has successfully led teams in the development and execution of strategic projects, financial planning, policy implementation and research studies . His portfolio includes supporting various initiatives aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability and policy implementation. He regularly engages in productive dialogues with government authorities, private companies, as well as bilateral and multilateral agencies.

In addition to his professional achievements, Apoorva holds Master Degree in Environmental Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, and frequently participates in conferences and workshops to stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in the field.
