The Ganesh Chaturthi celebration at Jaypee University, Anoopshahr, was a grand 5-day event, beginning on September 7 and concluding on September 11. Every day, the festivities were marked by morning and evening Aartis, where students and faculty gathered to seek Lord Ganesh's blessings. Each evening featured cultural activities such as dancing and singing performances dedicated to Bappa, creating a joyful and spiritual atmosphere.
Additionally, a Bhajan Sandhya was organized each night, filling the air with devotional melodies. On the final day, September 11, after a series of prayers and a special Pooja/Havan led by a priest and honored by the presence of the respected Vice Chancellor at the university's Har Har Mahadev Mandir, the celebrations culminated with the Visarjan (immersion ceremony) of the idol. After every Aarti, Prasadwas distributed to everyone present, bringing a sense of togetherness and spiritual fulfillment.
The combination of religious rituals and cultural expressions made the celebration not only a tribute to Lord Ganesh but also a vibrant community event, strengthening bonds among students and faculty.
