Jaypee University Anoopshahr continues to uphold its commitment towards social responsibility, community welfare, and meaningful initiatives that encourage students to contribute positively to society.
A Blood Donation Camp was organised at the Jaypee University Anoopshahr campus by The Innovators.JUA – E-Cell, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, staff, and members of the university community. The camp received an encouraging response, with more than 75 people donating blood for the cause.
The blood collection was carried out by the dedicated team from V Care Blood Centre, with the initiative aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of blood donation and contributing towards the availability of blood for patients and individuals in need. The active participation of students reflected their awareness towards social responsibility and their willingness to contribute to the well-being of the community.
The camp was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajeev Saxena and Registrar Mr. Sanjay Agrawal, who visited the event, interacted with the participants, and encouraged the blood donors and organising team. Their presence further motivated the participants and strengthened the spirit behind the initiative.
The event was supported by Associate Dean Dr. Nishant Shrivastava, Dr. Sumit Kumar, and Naman Priya Sharma (Programme Officer), along with Swapnil, Ishika Goyal, Ojasvi Bhardwaj, and Ashwin Singh Parmar (Programme Coordinators). From the university, Arvind Kumar Rajput, Rahul Gupta, Hiteshwar Singh, Jyoti Gautam, Vandana Gupta, Tarun Kumar, Rishabh Gaur, Varun Kumar Singhal, along with other faculty members, were also present and extended their support towards the initiative.
The event also witnessed participation from JVM School, with teachers Parya Shirohi and Atra Arya joining the initiative and contributing to its success.
Adding further value to the initiative, a health check-up camp by Dr. Lal PathLabs and a free eye check-up camp organised by the Rajesh Kumari Group were also conducted on the occasion, providing participants and visitors with additional opportunities to focus on their health and well-being.
The successful organisation of the camp was made possible through the collective efforts of the organising team, volunteers, faculty members, students, healthcare teams, and all those who came forward to donate blood. The enthusiastic participation of the university community reflects the values of compassion, social responsibility, community service, and collective action.
